Baskin Day 2024
Baskin Day, a one-day annual student-run event, is a day to celebrate the achievements and community of students and faculty within the Baskin School of Engineering (BSOE) at the University of California, Santa Cruz. In the 2024-25 school year, Baskin Day will be held on Friday, October 25th from 12 to 5 p.m. at the Baskin School of Engineering.
Since 2020, Baskin Day has been dedicated to bringing together the Baskin community through showcasing the plethora of student organizations and academic and research opportunities within BSOE, as well as providing career guidance to students by organizing informational and recruitment events featuring industry professionals.
The Baskin Day team would like to thank all past and present volunteers, speakers, recruiters, faculty, organizations, sponsors, BSOE staff, and alumni who have helped to make Baskin Day a success each year.

Memorable highlights include Professor Yi Zhang’s presentation on conversational AI, a large industry panel of professionals from companies like Google, Oracle, Achronix, and Lunar Lunchbox VR, a showcase of student/club projects, and lots of fun activities like Jeopardy, tote bag painting, scavenger hunts, Jenga, and so much more!
